So I decided to doodle some Korra… because I have nothing better to do at 12 midnight. I lied I have a shitton of work to catch up on.
Mostly I wanted to have a placemarker for when I come back after forever of being away.

And I find it hilarious and sad and also really hilarious that, canonically, thus far, the only person who really gets along with Mako is his brother (who plays the role of diplomat, smoothing over ruffled feathers and keeping folks happy), and it’s not necessarily that Mako is a jerk so much as—well, he’s kind of a jerk, but I also think he’s just not … good at people. He’s socially awkward and he doesn’t understand how to really interact with others and he’s probably kind of shy which he covers up by being rude and he thinks “not bad” is a genuinely effusive compliment and when Korra thinks he’s being a dick his instinctive response is WELL… WHATEVER!!!! I’M GOING TO MY ROOM, GOOD-BYE
